New Solid Rock Outreach Ministry has a Community Outreach Program (C.O.P.) that works to provide, food, clothes and job training assistance. We currently partner with Cooper Lane Elementary School in Landover Hills, Md. Our partnership consists of participating in their fall “Back to School” opening, Thanksgiving Baskets during the Holidays, school uniforms as requested and supplies as needed for printers and computers.
To the community at large, we provide free clothing giveaways. These clothes are received from others within the community that want to be a blessing and some help to their fellow neighbors.
In the past we have worked with schools and community leaders to provide, job training skills such as computer basics, resume writing and interview skills. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist us in these areas during this year!
