The Word

June 2025 Affirmation
Family Love!

AFFIRMATION
We love one another as a family. We embrace each other's weaknesses and are always quick to give grace.
We are patient with one another and will always stand with each other. Our hearts are full of God's love and overflow
with love towards one another.

SCRIPTURES
St. John 13:34 (KJV) -A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that we also love one another.

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV) - 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Week 1: It's Still Yours!

The land that the Lord had promised Israel was already occupied but that did not mean that the land was not theirs. God was about to do something marvelous through them that would liberate the land into their hands. The latter part of verse 20 says – you have reached the hill country …. Israel went through Egypt, the red sea, and the wilderness to reach the hill country of the land to be possessed. Beloved, you too have gone through a lot to reach the hill country of the blessing which God is giving you. Your job, your house, your car, may currently be occupied, but it is still yours. The car may still be on the lot, but it is still yours. The land already belonged to Israel because they had a promise from God. Likewise, the thing that you have been praying for is already yours even though there is a wall keeping you out. Start getting ready today, because shortly, God will release the answer to your prayers into your hands. Like a great earthquake, there is a shift that is about to occur in your life. Glory to God!

Family & Friends: Your's, Mine, & Ours

Poem Written By: D'Juana Dickens and Sheila Feaster
Dedicated to Mother Elsie Vivian Spencer

God created the first family, their names are Adam and Eve,
But just like in some families,  something came in and deceived.
Now I'm going to fast forward to Esther and Mordecai. Now their bond was so strong,
they never left each other's side!

Fruitful and Plenty is what HE asked, if you don't believe me check out Abraham!

Some family & friends are nurturing, some are troublesome.
I don't know how much we can take, but here's a suggestion.

Take on what you can endure.
Pray, pray & pray and let those knees hit the floor.
Put your trust in Jesus only HE can give you more!!

Now I'm going to talk about my family and you know it's something good.
Oh wait, y'all know my family! Y'all understood!

Family & Friends is about love, patience, hurt, pain,
loss, sacrifice, & happiness.
As we get older,  we get wiser, but through HIM there's nothing
like the joy of the Lord who always supplies.

NEW SOLID ROCK, FAMILY & FRIENDS DAY...GLORY, HALLELUJAH! This is all I have to say!!

December week 2:
Fear Not
St. Luke 1:29-30 - 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.

Often times we are intimidated by the size or complexity that can encompass the expression of God’s favor in our lives. You see, whatever God does, he always goes big! It may start out small but when His favor is released upon our life, you can expect great things! Don’t be afraid to try something new, to do things differently as this is the only way you can achieve the desired results! If what you are facing this week is too big for you then it is just right for our God! Don’t fear, don’t back down but meet it head on knowing that the Lord is with you! The love of God is with you! First John 4:18 says: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. You have been called for such a time as this! Live this week in faith and not in fear!!
